  2. Robert Buchanan says:

Anybody remember on Big Bang Theory when Howard got his junk stuk in a robot arm. Samsung thank you for giving everyone the opportunity to act this out at home

  3. James Randolph says:

I liked the giant TV, dog chopper, and Keurig ripoff that makes ice cream. It’s the prices I don’t like!

  4. Scott Nolan says:

The reason the switch can’t power is it’s live and live no neutral it happens with a lot of smart switches the only way to solve it is to rewrite at the light and then the switch so not so easy for most consumers. Philips are trying to make it easy for those with little to no knowledge

  5. Michael Holopainen says:

WHY !?! Why the f**k does that need bling lights and speakers. Military grade gas masks have solved the voice problem by adding small drum like thin membrane to the mask at front of the mouth to amplify the voice. No power needed and it could be transparent.

  6. Martin Wickenden says:

Hi Paul, my wife who is actually intelligent always goes on about this sort of thing… it’s one Prius and two Prii (although should check this)

  7. Daniel Wolman says:

im all for philips hue bashing but actually that device makes sense, not everyone has a neutral wire in the back of their light switch… from a sonoff mini user

  8. Jonathan Musgrove says:

    Hey Paul loving the channel.
Ever through of putting content on lbry too. Reason I’m asking is google and the Australian government are having a little row, something to do with corporate greed bloody-mindedness and negotiating tatics learnt from the Chinese. Could see google leave Australia which may mean i don’t my shits and giggles from your channel

  9. Dan MacGregor says:

Haha yeah. The only thing good was that Samsung SmartThings works on Android Auto. I can now open and close my garage door with much better range than my remote.

  10. Alexander Paulsen says:

The Hue thing is actually not as stupid as it sounds.
Those devices use next to no power and the battery will last for years (if designed well)
A transformer will use much more power (no matter how well designed), is more expensive and probably be worse for the environment.

(In Europe door bells were sometimes powered by 9V batteries, because this was more efficient and much cheaper than having a 12V power supply for the doorbell.)

  11. Carl Leach says:

Is the Philips Hue switch not battery powered so that it can work with wall switches that don’t have neutral run to them?

  12. ivanros148 says:

The Philips hue switch is not that bad of idea for some (older) houses that do not have a neutral wire in the wall socket. Only the price could be cheaper. What this switch does can also done with a door sensor and some soldering.

  13. madcunty says:

Are those furry balls going to turn into across between Critters and Terminator? They have the start of a Sci Fi horror movie written all over them.
