The butter dish looks nice but doesn’t work in a country where the butter doesn’t come in sticks. Unless you’re going to the trouble of cutting it to fit.

  2. Gareth Blake says:

The kettle should’ve been in a pretentious video…theres no need for it but its something you brag about to your friends. Similar situation with the trea machine, can you make just as good tea without it…yes. no need for it but you’ll brag about having it. Pan lid, solving a problem I don’t really have buy a rack that sits on the back if the cupboard door. And the butter dish is fair enough but I would have no use for it. ??

Best gadget in this video was the spectacular that I really liked the look of ???

  3. Rainbow Arts and crafts says:

I’m with you Jamie on the cringe noise polystyrene makes. Why does everything have to be packed in this evil stuff????!!

  4. Javindo says:

Every single time I see one of these automatic tea/coffee makers/kettles etc they never solve the core problem which is that they always need to be manually filled. When they find a way of somehow cleverly hooking into the cold water tap and drainage without a massive plumbing bill they’ll finally be onto something, but until then they’re no better than a normal kettle.

  5. Natalie Erskine says:

I swear that tea square reminds me of that tea machine from A Christmasy Ted. “What if I LIKE the misery?” 😀

  6. MoeMoe Kyun says:

I’m a bit of a tea nerd, and honestly I wouldn’t ever want that Tea Square. Jaimie hit it on the head with the temperature and the control that I enjoy having over my tea, especially when dealing with different leaves and even tisanes. I also rather enjoy the ritual and process of making tea, I find it relaxing, and I feel like that Tea Square takes that away from me.

  7. Emma De Wet says:

I totally understand Jamie’s point about the kettle. There is no need for it! The boiling point of water doesn’t change so why set the temperature of the water. Also a kettle also only takes 5 – 10 minutes to boil so no real need to set the kettle to turn on before you get home from work or wake up etc.

  8. Magnus Bergner says:

A kettle where you can set the temperature can be used to heat milk for hot chocolate, sold!

  9. Orangejuicehero says:

No one wants a butter ring after buttering some buttered buns with the butter in your better butter buttery.

  10. Marie B says:

We have silicone lids for our pots at home. Fits every pot, will always seal tightly and not catch on any handles ?

  11. inkasrain says:

That kettle is wildly over the top, but to be honest I can think of a few tea fiends in my life who would get their money’s worth out of it.

  12. Beinlin Malleus says:

I have one of the universal lids, but it is silicon instead of metal beyond the glass. Fits a lot better, even molding to the handle, and it just works amazingly

  13. Iron Ox says:

Well that tea thing looks interesting. Personally for tea, I’m going to skip all the electronic stuff and stick with a Samovar. It’s worked for ages and doesn’t need to be plugged into anything.

  14. Jazzyjdotca says:

Just before watching this I placed an order for a butter dish.

Its confirmed, I’m an old man.

  15. Ciprian Grosu says:

there is a reason why Jamie is the favorite of the people. Most of the people can identify with Jamie.
